Everyone makes a mistake and you might sometimes accidentally delete an item from the Outlook. When that happens, as long as you did not hold down the Shift key while deleting the items, you can recover those attributes from the “Deleted Items” Folder. Generally, you want to delete unnecessary emails and other attributes from Outlook only to reduce the wastage of storage space. This is because, all these items are stored in PST file that has a specific limit for a specific version of Outlook.  If this PST file contains unnecessary data then one day it may reach its maximum limit resulting in PST file corruption. In such case, all your Outlook data become inaccessible. Therefore, in order to avoid  PST file corruption you must delete unnecessary data from Outlook.

When you delete any attribute like emails, contacts, appointments etc. from Outlook, they are moved to “Deleted Items” folder that behaves like a Recycle Bin. But, what if you accidentally delete Outlook attributes using Shift+Del keys?? Do these items get permanently deleted?? When you delete any Outlook items like emails, calendar entries, contacts etc. using Shift+Del keys, they do not move to “Deleted Items” instead they bypass the “Deleted Items” folder.
